YTF Selected
as a Finalist in the Stockholm Challenge Awards.
The Stockholm Challenge Award is the world´s leading ICT Prize - for entrepreneurs who use ICT to improve living conditions and increase economic growth.
In March
2006, YTF's program, the Young Nigerians
Science and Health Tele-Academy, was selected as a finalist in the
Stockholm Challenge Awards. In addition, the program was selected from
over 200 Africa based projects as a finalist in the Challenge Award for
African projects.
Although, the Young Nigerians Science and Health Tele-Academy did not
win the award, being selected is a testament to the work we are doing
with youth, education and information and communication technology.
