Our beneficiaries are not the problem, but part of the solution.
We envision a world in which our beneficiaries are equipped with adequate tools and resources, preparing them to confidently compete for 21st century opportunities.
YTF pioneered the Digital Village movement in Sub-Saharan Africa 12 years ago. By investing in youth and their mothers, we have positively impacted 1.4MM people living across 6 developing world communities. YTF’s innovative programs have fueled the creation of over 200 small businesses, supported reverse migration and increased interest in STEM and Information and Communication Technology fields by 75%. With over 200 volunteers, YTF has won the United Nations Online Volunteer Award twice in 5 years.
YTF recognizes that technology is not going to solve the problems of the developing world, but it is a tool that can be used to help bridge social and economic obstacles.
