YTF CEO at Google’s Women Techmakers Lagos Summit

Youth for Technology Foundation’s Founder and CEO, Njideka Harry, will be presenting a Fireside Chat at Google’s Women Techmakers International Women’s Day 2019 Lagos Summit on March 16th in Lagos, Nigeria.  The event provides visibility, community, and resources for women in technology and will be held at Zone Tech Park: Plot 9, Gbagada Industrial Scheme, Gbagada Expressway.

Njideka will take the stage at 3:45pm local time to highlight her journey as a technology entrepreneur and talk about the importance she places on successful women reaching down to pull other women up along with them.  The theme for the WID19 Lagos Summit is “T.E.A.M – Together Everybody Achieves More” and “The Courage to Question.”  Talks will center around questioning the status quo and how collaboration of strong leaders can benefit all women.

Titi Akinsanmi, Fellow at Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, will deliver the keynote address.  Blessing Orazulume, Senior Software Developer at Andela, will deliver a Tech Talk entitled My VR Journey, and a Lightning Talk entitled Know Your Worth – and Then Add Tax! will be delivered by Toyin Oshinowo, Co-Founder & VP of Product at Fieldinsight.  Juliet Ehimuan, Country Director of Nigeria for Google, will deliver closing remarks.
