YTF Receives Digital Partners SEL Award in Baramati, India
May 30, 2003 – Third Annual Baramati Initiative on ICT and Development
Venue: Vidya Institute of Information Technology, Baramati, India
The goal of the conference was to explore the ways in which information communication technology is being used as a tool to empower the poor. To emphasize the role of social entrepreneurs using ICT in opening new avenues for the poor in markets, e-commerce, and information sharing, and will explore models that demonstrate both social impact and financial sustainability.
YTF was selected and honored as a 2002/2003 finalist in the Digital Partners Social Enterprise Laboratory.
